How do you like the way you look? Are you satisfied with they way you present yourself to the rest of the world? Are you the confident person you know you can be or do avoid interacting with others simply because you feel uncomfortable and self conscious? Today is your lucky day because today you can make a choice that can change your destiny. If you are sick and tired of living a life of defeat, then you will want to listen up. Commit to the process of transforming your body today and before Obama takes the oath of office on January 20th, you’ll feel and look like you’ve had a million dollar makeover.
To get started, you will have to force your body to do what you tell it to do and not let it do what it wants to do. This involves waking up early in the morning before the kids get up and forcing yourself to go for a brisk walk or run. The goal for you is to kick start your metabolism.
Step two is for you to do what your mother always told you. Eat your breakfast. After much research, most doctors agree that breakfast really is the most important way to start your day. By eating breakfast, you give your body permission to begin to burn those calories. This means that all morning long, your body is working to process those nutrients so that you’ll have additional energy from the start all the way to the end of the day.
Stop poisoning your body. Someday soon, you should really take a good hard look at what you put into your body. The food you eat serves as the energy your body will use to make it through the day. Are you really going to try to make it with candy, soda and chips? Proper nutrition goes beyond breakfast and must continue all day long. You may find that you like the healthy food more so than the alternative.
You must also hydrate yourself, and that means drinking lots and lots of water. Water is really something that keeps your body in top operating condition. A trick is that if you are drinking any caffeinated free beverage then you can count that as water in your day.
Here’s a simple secret for you. For weight loss to be effective, you must loose more pounds than you gain. Yes, I know you would’ve sat in the cold on a stormy winter morning for that tidbit of information. While it sounds simple, it is actually very profound. By controlling your portions and monitoring your caloric intake, you can assure yourself that you are burning more calories and fat than you are adding to your waistline.
However, you have to make sure that you are eating enough good calories throughout the day. Spend time finding low calorie foods and incorporating those into mini meals throughout the day. By doing this you will keep your metabolism constantly working which helps to keep its speed up.
Keep a diary of everything you eat. I would also encourage you to document the time of day in which you eat as well. You will likely find an interesting pattern. The key though is that you can not correct what you do not know exists. This daily eating diary will serve a starting point from where you will grow.
Last but not least is the motivation factor. While eating the right foods at the right times and exercising are all very important things, none of those things are possible without proper motivation and support. Forget trying to do it on your own. If you could have done it, you would have by now. The best thing to do is to find a running buddy. Someone whom you can confide in and someone you can trust that will not let you give up. You two can support one another as you press forward toward creating the body you deserve by inauguration day.
