Look in the mirror, where did 2008 go?

Did you procrastinate tasks or just flat out gave up?

I’m not trying to pick on you. I found myself asking those questions, but I came up with the solutions to keep you fueled and focused.

Before you even start, choose the right goal. Your new years’ resolution must be challenging and within reach. Target a goal that does not shackle you to results and you will find more success. Check out these ideas that will keep you on the fast track to winning.

Four “Ninja Mind Tricks” I discovered…

1. Small chunking

Break up your ultimate goal into smaller segments so you don’t overwhelm yourself and you will find it more approachable.

2. A reward system

Reward yourself at each way point to stay motivated. If you’re falling off, hold the rewards until you find your way back.

3. Have a game plan

Write down a strategy for accomplishing each of your small chunk goals. Include checkpoints for your rewards system.

4. Accountability tactics

Make your resolution well known to your friends. They will help keep you on the right track.
