The PSP has been out for a few years now and is a very popular handheld system. It is a great little gadget that can do a lot more than play games, but most people who have one use it mostly for gaming.

There are actually lots of websites that allow you to download games to your PSP. It is hard to find a great download site that can get you all the games you want. Here are some tricks to getting games for your PSP.

The PSP firmware is the PSP’s operating system. You may have to change your PSP’s firmware by downgrading it to a version that is able to play games, or get custom firmware. Downloaded games were playable on versions 1.0 and 1.5 of firmware very easily.

To check out which version of the firmware you have right now, go to the system information tab in the settings menu. Your PSP will show your firmware version.

Playing movies and music on your PSP is simple, and it doesn’t matter which firmware version you have. The files just have to be playable on PSP. Good PSP game DL sites usually offer movies and music downloads too.

You can also download games for older systems like SNES, NES and more to your PSP from these sites which is a bonus. They show you how to download emulators for your PSP and start running old system game ROMs on it.

There are lots of PSP download sites, so you should make sure you choose a reputable one that won’t download viruses and adware to your computer.

There are excellent sites that can give you all kinds of PSP downloads, however. My favorite site is in the video above. Every game you could ever want is at that site and it won’t harm your computer!
