The confidence of the alpha male does not come from a cowboy-like swagger or from being a jerk who cracks green jokes. The confidence of the alpha male comes from being a person who has his own set of passions – whether it’s sports, his career, his business, his goals – and being able to talk about them in a way that would interest the woman. The woman will instantly think that this is a guy worth knowing. You are not just some random guy seizing every opportunity to pick up women.

The alpha male is a fun guy, quick to spot moments where a refreshing punch line can be delivered. The alpha male’s punch line is not straight out of a movie but rather a spontaneous and humorous response to the conversation. More than, finding what’s funny about other people, the alpha male is willing to laugh at himself because he feels secure enough about his own self. Using humor is one of the best ways to attract women.

The alpha male is also an expert of the social graces. This does not exactly mean knowing which spoon to use first on a dinner date (although that is a plus). This means that the alpha male has mastered his reactions that he remains calm and continues to act appropriately when confronted by a strange or embarrassing situation. He knows when to speak and knows how to listen. He knows how to talk to women in a way that they would feel attractive and confident while wanting more of your attention at the same time. By knowing how to approach and attract women, the women themselves put their best foot forward to get the alpha male interested in them.

The alpha male also has a special quality in them that attracts women. He has a certain air of dominance that does not come from bossing anybody around or giving a big tip to the bartender.
