It is very difficult to decide which toy is the favourite and right one for your dog. Dog Toys are the favourite of dogs and puppies; one can find a wide range of dog toys in the market. Few of them are plush toys, to tennis balls, to rubber toys; the right choice has to be made by you. When you are buying new toys for your dog remember the first thing to consider is the size of your dog. As depending on the size of your dog the toys has to be purchased. For instance the large dog surely needs a different toy than a small dog. Also remember to keep in mind that you take that kind dog toy which should be of a size that your dog can’t swallow. When your dog is running or playing with a ball it may so happen that your dog swallows the ball accidentally.
Another point to consider is how rough your dog plays and it’s energy level. Is he or she a real strong chewer? Then stronger, denser toys will be needed. Or does the dog simply like to cuddle with a toy? Then a soft, plush doll type of toy would be the answer. Safety should be your first concern when choosing dog toys. Read the label carefully. What is the toy made from? Are some parts toxic? Sometimes, inner parts of dog toys are made of toxic materials, so it’s important that you keep an eye on the dog while playing with this type of toy.
If accidentally the toy falls apart or is chewed then you have to throw away the toy in trash. If each day you have a habit of leaving your dog at home for longer period then prefer taking a toy which involves activity for your dog. A toy can be a bouncing one or which makes noice or which has a treat hidden inside it. These kinds of toys keep your dogs occupied for a longer perod whne you are not at home. Always remember to remove all the tags, labels, bows, ribbons or covering from the new dog toys before giving it to your dog as it can choke in the dog’s mouth.
Often, the simplest toys will keep your dog the most occupied and happy. Consider a thick, strong rope that’s tied into a knot on one end. Dogs can spend hours trying to unravel this type of toy. You’ll also want to rotate your dog toys, for instance, if you give your dog some new toys for Christmas, and then put the old, summer toys away for a while. Variety is good for your dog and rotating toys will help to keep their attention.
Perfect choice for your dogs is the rubber toys like rubber ball dog toy, as they tend to last for a longer period of time. They can also resist damage and bacteria and which can bounce for longer time so that the dog can be occupied. When your dog plays with the toy remember to keep an eye. So if the dog chews the toy or chokes it off then throw the broken toy away. Once in a while remove time and inspect your dog toys, if you find that the toy is dirty or damaged then repair it if possible and you can also wash your dirty dog toys with a soft dishwashing soap.
