The wii is a win-win for nintendo because of its ability to enhance enjoyment for the whole family as well as increasing physical fitness. Where else can you ski at home in the summer with games lke Wii Ski. This is among the top sellers and is a huge success.
Everything buy now has to be HD as we have entered into a new visualization era. There is speculation that the new wii will have an enhanced HD format and is to be released in 2011. The only thing missing is 3D and 4D.
There is talk that the the overall player/system intereaction is going to be upgraded significantly. Although the details are still sworn in secrecy, we will have to wait and see on this. The possibilities are endless.
The storage medium of the console is another aspect speculated upgrades in the new wii. Possibly a new and improved large flash drive or maybe a bigger and better hard drive that will enhance the performance of the system.
The possiblities could potentially be limitless as new games and the platform are released. Imagination and technology coming together to provide a gaming experience that is so real you will feel like you have entered into a virtual world inside the gaming system.
Only the developers at Nintendo can make this happen and this is evidenced by there R&D Budget of around 370 million, according to there financial reports, which is about 10 times more than it was five years ago.
With 2011 seeming to be a long way away, when the time comes and the new Wii is released there will be no stopping Nintendo and the wait will be worth it.
